2023 YUKON SLE/SLT SAFETY
ADVANCED SAFETY TECHNOLOGY1,2
The safety content offers an array of driver-alert and active safety technologies including cameras and ultrasonic sensors that help you avoid potential hazards.

HD REAR VISION CAMERA

When in Reverse, the driver can view the scene directly behind the vehicle on the infotainment screen, to help the driver park and avoid nearby objects during low speed manoeuvring.

FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST

When driving below 8 km/h, this feature provides distance-to-object alerts to help the driver park and avoid nearby detected objects directly ahead or behind the vehicle during low-speed manoeuvring.

AVAILABLE FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR3

This system provides the driver with the following (or headway) time to a moving vehicle detected in front of the vehicle to help them know if they are following too closely.

AVAILABLE FORWARD COLLISION ALERT3

If the system detects that a pedestrian is directly ahead and a collision is imminent, and the driver has not already applied the brakes, the system alerts the driver and may even automatically apply the brakes to help the driver avoid or reduce the harm caused by the collision. Performance is limited at night

AVAILABLE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING3

The Automatic Emergency Braking operates below 80 km/h, and can alert you when it detects a front-end collision is imminent with a vehicle ahead you are following. It can also help reduce the collision’s severity or avoid the collision by automatically applying hard emergency braking if you have not already, or by enhancing driver hard braking.

AVAILABLE FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING3

If the system detects that a pedestrian is directly ahead and a collision is imminent, and the driver has not already applied the brakes, the system alerts the driver and may even automatically apply the brakes to help the driver avoid or reduce the harm caused by the collision. Performance is limited at night.

AVAILABLE INTELLIBEAM HEADLAMPS3

In dark driving conditions, IntelliBeam Headlamps automatically turn on the vehicle’s high beams. When oncoming headlights or taillights are detected, it switches back to low beams.

AVAILABLE LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT3

Provides side-mirror alerts to the driver when a detected vehicle is moving in, or rapidly approaching their side blind zone during a lane-change manoeuvre.

AVAILABLE LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING3

Provides gentle steering wheel turns (and Lane Departure Warning alerts if necessary) to help drivers avoid collisions due to unintentionally drifting out of their lane when they are not actively steering and their turn signal is not activated.

AVAILABLE REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT3

When in Reverse, this feature provides alerts to help the driver avoid approaching detected left- or right-cross traffic.

1. Safety features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read the Owner’s Manual for more important safety information.

2. Always use safety belts and the correct child restraint for your child’s age and size, even with air bags. Even in vehicles equipped with the Passenger Sensing System, children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate infant, child or booster seat. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat of any vehicle equipped with an active frontal air bag. See the Owner’s Manual and the child safety seat instructions for more safety information.

3. Available on SLE & SLT.

Due to global Semi-Conductor supply shortages, GM vehicles may not have some standard features and options. Please check with your local GMC dealer to confirm the vehicle’s specifications prior to purchase. Vehicles not equipped with Automatic Stop/Start will be less fuel efficient.</p>
